Headlines (03.10.2007): The first soundclips from Partners in Crime available! The song played on this welcome page is called "Intoxication Blues", a rather surprising and humorous blues-metal opening song for Partners in Crime. Mp3 versions of "Intoxication Blues", as well as another new song "You Don't" are now available at MySpace (except for downloading, sorry!). All instruments and vocals have also been recorded to "Love in Vain", "Hate" and "Partners in Crime".
Headlines (18.08.2007): The publication of Soul Corner's new album "Partners in Crime" has been delayed many times this year due to the busy schedules of band members, as well as health issues. However, drums and bass have been recorded for 5 songs, and Aki is currently recording guitar parts for those songs. Check out Aki's blog for the developments. Soundclips of the new songs will be posted soon to these homepages and the band's Myspace account. It's assumed that the new album will come out to the stores in the last quarter of 2007.

Headlines (20.5.2007): Soul Corner's Aki is going to record two rock songs with a prominent Turkish female vocalist Emine Sahin. Aki & Emine have spoken about the cooperation for over two years, and they finally agreed to give it a try during Aki's visit to Turkish capital Ankara 13-16.5.2007. Emine is the lead singer of two known Turkish rock bands, Echoes and Kursun Asker. Stay tuned!
Headlines (19.05.2007): Izzi back at home: Soul Corner's vocalist Juha "Izzi the Snake" Uronen has left the hospital after a heart stroke he got on Friday 11.5.2007. The 33-year-old is now recovering...
Headlines (09.03.2007): Aki and Friedrich zur Heide have been working on a movie soundtrack. The movie "Hands" is a short story about a married Istanbul-based Turkish couple who feel alieneted from each other. The movie has been shot and directed by a young talented woman, Dilek Aydin. The movie is expected to be ready for preview at Istanbul Mithat Alam Film Center in May-June 2007.
Headlines (26.01.2007): Soul Corner's Aki appeared on stage at the famous Nardis Jazz Club on Monday 22nd January in Istanbul in a blues-jazz concert by Friedrich zur Heide. Aki played a 1 hour set together with Friedrich. The audience got a real SURPRISE when a Broadway star B.J Crosby, from New Orleans, USA, joined Friedrich and Aki on stage for 4 songs!!! B.J Crosby is an astonishing female jazz vocalist who’s also appeared on numerous world-famous TV shows including “Ally McBeal,” “Law and Order,” and “The Bill Cosby Show.” Check out a video clip featuring BJ here.
Headlines (25.01.2007). The live concert at Istanbul university by Friedrich zur Heide, an accomplished German composer and blues pianist, and Aki was videotaped and it became part of "Istanbul - Europe's Culture Capital 2010" promotion movie. A video clip of the concert can be downloaded here.
